Deepak Chopra Interviews Quantum Consciousness Expert
On March 27th, Deepak Chopra interviewed Dr. Stuart Hameroff, the Director of Center for Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona. This interview was a very interesting and informative conversation on the nature of quantum consciousness. Dr. Hameroff is a proponent of the theory of quantum consciousness, which is in distinction to the materialist theories that consciousness is a product of complex computation and brain chemistry. This is mind over matter instead of matter over mind. Dr. Hameroff, with Roger Penrose, has proposed that consciousness emerges at the quantum level inside of neurons.
