The Power of Meditation
Many people have experienced the power of prayer in their own lives and in those they have prayed for, but what is the difference between the power of prayer and the power of meditation? If prayer is a intense emotional request directed towards some greater power, we might call the Divine, then meditation is an inwardly directed process of focused intention and attention. Meditation is a process of realization and union with the Divine.
Meditation has many forms. One can meditate in silence or with sound. One can meditate with form or without form. You can practice active meditation by using with a quantum sound frequency, or through writing a mind sound phrase or quantum frequency, such as “Om Higgs-Boson Ardhi Sivaya” or “Vayanamasi”. In the Tamil tradition, this form of meditation can also be done on your behalf, via proxy, by persons who have received special training in the art and science of meditation.
Through the practice of regular meditation, many people have found a more focused sense of peace and center of calm in their lives. For those who give real time and dedication to their discipline through hours of practice each day for many years, more powerful manifestations can occur, such as the development of supernormal powers (siddhis). These can include the psychic powers, energetic healing, and instantaneous manifestations in all areas of your life.
Meditation coupled with ritual can intensify both your experience and your outcome. The practice of prayer or meditation by proxy is as effective as doing the ritual yourself. It is a practice in the Tamil tradition that stems back thousands of years. Prayer by proxy yields consistent benefits.
Personally I have found that my personal meditation and mantra writing practice has been incredibly enhanced when in the presence of an enlightened Master. If you get the chance to go on one of the upcoming trips with enlightened Master, Dr. Baskaran Pillai, I highly encourage you to take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity. Even if it is too late for you to attend the upcoming Gurupurnima Event, celebrating the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali with Dr. Pillai in Cabo San Lucas, you can still attend one day virtually through a live webcast and fire ritual in Cabo San Lucas. Also you can read more about some of the incredible options that are available for you to receive blessings and benefits during this event via proxy fire labs and rituals.
